There has been a lot of downtime between the last RLCS event and the upcoming 2024 World Championship. In fact, outside of the 16 teams that qualified for each of those events, there have been no official Psyonix competitions since late May. Currently, the Shift Summer League is filling some of that gap, but even that only involves a handful of the best teams in the world.

Finally, the Rocket League Champions Open is giving everyone else something to play for. The three main tournaments in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 Rumble will take place each weekend leading up to RLCS 2024 Worlds. Immediately following that, there will be an additional Sideswipe 1v1 for Rocket League's mobile title.
