The Rocket League community has been preparing for this week for the whole competitive season. The best teams from all over the globe gather in Fort Worth, USA, to have lots of exciting matches and determine one and only World Champion.
The wonderful experience of the RLCS World Championship 2024 starts with the Swiss Stage. It continues for five days, with each and every one of them being filled with top-level Rocket League esports.

- G2 Esports pretty confidently defeated Limitless in the opening match of the RLCS World Championship 2024. 3:0, and G2 proceed to Round 2 high matches.
- Falcons literally destroyed Gladiators. Not only did they get a 3:0 match score, but Team Falcons also scored 8:0 in game 3.
- Match 3 was somewhat closer than previous, but Gentle Mates still won over QuikTrip Pioneers Gaming with 3:0.

The Swiss Stage Schedule and format
The first stage of the Rocket League World Championship consists of five rounds, where 16 participating teams play Swiss-system matches.
- The starting day is Sept. 10. There will be 8 matches — the team pairs have been already determined (look at the RLCS results section above).
- On the second day, Sept. 11, eight winning teams play against each other in so-called high-matches. Eight losing teams have their low matches.
- The third day, Sept. 12, is when the first qualified and eliminated teams are known. Four teams that won their starting two matches play against each other, and two winners proceed to the Playoffs. Eight teams with one loss and one win play their mid matches, and everyone continues the competition. Four teams with only losses in the Swiss stage have low matches, and two losers are eliminated.
- The plan for the fourth day, Sept. 13 is similar to the previous one. Six teams with a 2:1 W/L score play to determine three qualified for the Playoffs. Three 1:2 teams play to determine three for leaving the Rocket League World Championship.
- The fifth day, Sept. 14, features three matches for the remaining teams. Three are out and three get their spots in the Playoffs.
- Tiebreakers of the RLCS World Championship Swiis stage also happen on Sept. 14.

The Rocket League matches at the World Championship 2024 Swiss Stage start at the same time from Sept. 10 to Sept. 14. Note, that only the first match sure starts on time, and all the next depend on the previous: early finishes, numbers of goals, and overtimes affect the schedule.
