Popular Roblox game Brookhaven RP now owned by Voldex

UGC game company Voldex has acquired Brookhaven RP, one of the most successful and visited Roblox games of all time.

On Feb. 4, Voldex announced that it finally sealed the deal with Wolfpaq Games to take over the development and ownership of the hit simulation Roblox game, Brookhaven RP.

Voldex revealed that they received all the additional capital required for the acquisition with the help of its investors, namely The Raine Group, Makers Fund, MIT, QIA, Lalotte Ventures, and Tirta Ventures. 

The new owners of Brookhaven RP also received debt financing from Shamrock Capital, Ares Management Credit, and Cadma Capital Partners.

With over 49 million daily visits, Brookhaven RP is widely renowned for its well-designed world and features that heavily emulate real-life scenarios, such as living in a densely populated city, purchasing a house, and taking odd jobs to earn in-game cash.

However, the reason that keeps many players hooked to Brookhaven RP is its promising gameplay that allows freedom for flexible role-playing and social interactions, which can be appealing to younger audiences.

Voldex is no stranger to maintaining and developing Roblox games, as the company is also in charge of other games on the platform, like NFL Universe Football, Driving Empire Car Racing, and Dungeon Quest RPG Adventure.

From being a developer of a Minecraft server in 2015, Voldex put most of its efforts on Roblox games in 2018 by offering top-notch games that are regularly updated to keep millions of players engaged.

According to RoMonitor Stats, Voldex currently holds the 24^th spot of the top Roblox game developers, while the original Brookhaven RP owner, Wolfpaq Games, comfortably sits at the top of the rankings. This means that after the deal, Voldex will seize the throne and lead all game developers in terms of total visits.
