BLEED signs one of Rainbow Six’s historic names as their coach.

BLEED announced the hiring of Brazilian coach Julio 'Julio' Giacomelli. This will be Julio's third experience as a coach after FURIA and MNM Esports.

Julio will assist the team in preparing for the team's major tournaments, including the Six Invitational, BLEED explained.

In the announcement, the organization did not clarify what the role of Zhang 'BruceZz' Jinghe, the team's coach until now, will be.

BLEED signs Julio, a major tournament specialist

Julio was at the last Six Invitational as a player and reached the final of the competition with w7m esports. The Brazilian also won the competition in 2021 as a player with Ninjas in Pajamas and a finalist with the team in 2020.

Julio's last team was MNM. The squad left the British organization after allegedly owing more than £200,000 to current and former players and staff.

Julio now arrives at BLEED and the first competition will be "at home" for the coach, in Brazil. In addition to the five Brazilian teams from the Brazil League, four more teams will have Brazilian coaches in Six Invitational.

Matheus 'Budega' Figueiredo from M80, Matheus 'Ramalho' Gonçalves from G2, Cesar 'Dxrk' Adriano from FearX, and Marlon 'Twister' Mello from Team Falcons (not yet announced), will be the Brazilian coaches on international teams at the Six Invitational.

BLEED: A team on the rise

BLEED entered the scene in March 2023 having won Stage 1 and 2 of the Asia League. However, the team failed to qualify for the first Major last season.

In their last and first international competition, BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, BLEED surprised everyone by reaching Phase 2 and not advancing in one game. The community wants to see more from BLEED in international tournaments and the Six Invitational will be the next test.
