Pokémon GO is heading to the big leagues.

Big fan of Pokémon and baseball? Well, then you will be delighted to know that the popular mobile game, Pokémon GO, is officially collaborating with the MLB. Here is everything we know about the collaboration and more.

Everything we know about the Pokémon GO x MLB collaboration

The new Pokémon GO x MLB collaboration is a dream for baseball fans who also love Pokémon. The new partnership helps introduce the famous mobile game to the world of Major League Baseball. The game is adding various MLB-themed Pokémon Gyms to each MLB stadium.

And yes, each Gym will be themed specifically to whatever team's stadium they will be stationed at. Want a Cubs-themed Pokémon Gym? Because that's just what you are going to get if you head to Wrigley Field in search of Pokémon and baseball.

Not only will the game be adding Gyms but also MLB-themed PokéStops for players to grab Poké Balls, special items and more.

In addition, new routes will enter the game and more when the collaboration begins.

When will the collaboration begin?

While there has not been a definite release date announced for the MLB x Pokémon GO collaboration, we do know that the opening day for the 2025 MLB season is on March 18.

It would only make sense for the collaboration to begin the day the MLB begins.

While Pokémon GO may not be as popular as it was when first released, it is still making fans ecstatic to see major sports corporations collaborate with the popular video game franchise. Who knows, we may see this Pokémon GO x MLB collaboration go beyond just the mobile game and further into the popular series.
