“I specifically drew them for DreamHack because I was so excited for the World Finals and everything.”

Over the weekend, DreamHack Stockholm 2025 shattered its attendance record by welcoming more than 60,000 visitors from 70 countries. In addition to the packed halls where esports events such as the 2025 Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) World Finals and ESL Impact League Season 8 Finals took place, the festival featured about 40 talented artists who showcased their artwork to attendees. Esports.gg was on site and spoke with AnabeoArt and Rubiart about their artwork!

Rubiart celebrates Overwatch 2 at DreamHack Stockholm 2025

There were many artists set up just outside the halls of DreamHack Stockholm 2025, but Rubiart's booth immediately caught our attention with its selection of fanart and merchandise. In addition to keychains featuring the HEARTSTEEL crew from League of Legends, her booth had adorable items with the different protagonists of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Rubiart also had no shortage of Overwatch 2 items on offer, including a Genji sticker referencing one of his victory poses. Other Overwatch 2 items featured Reinhardt, Mei, Kiriko, and Ana.

In her interview with esports.gg, Rubiart revealed that she's actually a Roadhog main. She also shared that she traveled from Austria to attend DreamHack Stockholm 2025. It was her first time visiting Sweden, and despite the long journey, the experience was well worth it.

"I've been playing the game basically since launch," Rubiart said. "I'm a Roadhog main, and I drew this Mei print quite a long time ago. For the stickers, I specifically drew them for DreamHack because I was so excited for the World Finals and everything, and I knew I just had to do more. I just love the character designs of Overwatch, and it's so fun to draw."

She continued, adding that although she wasn't able to enter Hall B all the time to watch the OWCS World Finals 2025 matches, she managed to catch glimpses of the esports action on her phone from time to time. Her helper, who took over the booth at times, also allowed her to look around the festival twice.

Elsewhere in the artist alley was AnabeoArt. What drew us to her booth were her vibrant Kiriko prints. The prints on offer were in two sizes, and the artwork had the support hero in her default skin smiling as she prepared for battle with her kunai.

AnabeoArt revealed to esports.gg that she actually traveled to the event from Lithuania. She described her journey by car as a long one as well. When we asked her about her artwork, she expressed her appreciation for the Overwatch 2 fans at DreamHack Stockholm and the franchise's art style.

"I personally like the whole art style of the characters -- how they're designed, how their skins are being introduced every now and then," AnabeoArt said. "And I really appreciate that people are putting a lot of effort and time into this. Not just the game, but just the whole fandom. So it's absolutely amazing, and I am really happy seeing it grow over the years."

For those who weren't able to attend the festival in person, more of AnabeoArt's work can be found via her Etsy shop.
