Timeless Ethereal wins Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes Championship
Between Feb. 2 and Feb. 4, the Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes Championship highlighted the skills of the LGBTQ+ community. When it came down to the grand final, Timeless Ethereal duked it out against Wisp Embers on the Flashpoint Suravasa map. After capturing three points, Timeless Ethereal won the map 3-0! This resulted in earning the lion's share of the $20,000 USD prize pool.

Shortly after claiming this victory featuring a roster consisting of Orisa, Mei, Sojourn, Baptiste, and Lucio, Timeless Ethereal player xten sat down for a post-match interview with caster CeeBee. When CeeBee asked about how it felt to win as a skilled hitscan player, xten revealed that it was awesome to get noticed by other people.
"I love playing with Timeless and I love the team," xten added, referring to sniper, sawhill, xten, bun, wsps, halo, and zzz.
Xten also noted that going into the Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes Championship, the team felt very excited and positive about the outlook. Everyone had confidence in taking home the gold. Xten described their team's voice chat as celebratory the second that everyone knew they had Suravasa in the bag.
"I just love representing the community," xten said when asked about what competing in the Overwatch 2 tournament meant to them. "And I just hope that we can be noticed more."
