Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop release date
Launching on March 12, the Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop collaboration will let you unlock special skins, highlight intros, emotes, and more. Of course, all of these items will be inspired by the Cowboy Bebop anime itself. Additionally, you will be able to enjoy music from the series in Overwatch 2.
“We’re honored to be collaborating with one of the most respected anime series of all time in Cowboy Bebop,” Overwatch 2 associate director Aimee Dennett said. “This collaboration is a wonderful way to pay homage to the legendary stories, art, animation, and music of the Cowboy Bebop series. We hope its fans and our players have as much fun with what we’re bringing to Overwatch 2 as we did in creating it.”

Overwatch 2 anime skins and more
According to Blizzard, this Overwatch 2 and Cowboy Bebop collaboration is the next step outside of the game's original universe. Previously, Overwatch 2 collaborated with K-pop band LE SSERAFIM and the One-Punch Man anime.
These collaborations also featured special skins for certain heroes. For example, when the game collaborated with the One-Punch Man anime, Genji received a Genos skin while Doomfist wore Saitama's outfit. Don't forget about Kirko's Tatsumaki skin and Soldier: 76 as Mumen Rider — the latter hero even had a Mumen Rider's bike as one of his highlight intros!
