Overwatch 2 is celebrating Pride Month 2025 with in-game rewards, community art submissions, and even a brand-new story about Soldier: 76 and Vincent. Additionally, just like previous years, players get to duke it out in the Pride Month version of Midtown!

Overwatch 2 Pride 2025
From May 30 to June 30, Overwatch 2 players can simply log in to the game and get the free Rainbow Smoke Bomb emote and Resilient Pride Soldier: 76 skin. For those unaware, Soldier: 76 is a gay Overwatch 2 character who once had a boyfriend named Vincent.

Overwatch 2 gets new Vincent lore
Speaking of Vincent, the latest Soldier: 76 short story features him. In "Futures Past," Soldier: 76 recalls how he met Vincent as Jack Morrison and how they set up their first date. The story also goes into how Soldier: 76 teams up with Illari. Illari wants to figure out the cause of the explosion that wiped out her people.
The short story ends with Soldier: 76 writing a heartfelt letter to Vincent, revealing that he's still alive. He also wishes Vincent well and tells him he's grateful of their time together.
