Two new Doran's items, new Boots, and some item reworks — League of Legends 2026 Season 2 is shaking up the Item Shop.

The Shop is getting a bit bigger as new items hit the Rift in League of Legends 2026 Season 2. Here’s an early look at the new starter Doran’s items, new Boots, the item reworks, and the ones that we have to say goodbye to.

These new item changes go live on League of Legends 2026 Season 2 Act I on Patch 26.09. This update will be on April 29, 2026. Check out the other exciting content on this patch, like the return of Deathfire Touch and Stormraider’s Surge, new Pandemonium skins, and WASD on Ranked.

New Doran’s starter items in LoL 2026 S2

We are getting two new Doran’s items to start lane with in Season 2. These are the Doran’s Bow and Doran’s Helm.

Doran’s Bow

This is a simple 400g item that grants the following stats:

  • 6 Attack Damage
  • 15% Attack Speed
  • 1.5% Omnivamp

This is intended to be an alternative to Doran’s Blade for champions who would make use of the Attack Speed in exchange for some loss on AD and the healing. Currently, though, Doran’s Blade seems like the better choice between the two.

Doran’s Helm

Doran’s Helm is a bruiser starter item meant to challenge Doran’s Shield’s dominance. This item is 450g, meaning you’ll only have 50g left to take one healing potion to lane afterward. Doran’s Helm gives the following stats:

  • 110 Health
  • 10 Armor
  • 10 Magic Resist
  • Helping Hand: Attacks deal 5 bonus physical damage to minions

The sustain from Doran’s Shield is gone, so the Helm is geared toward aggressive laners with great early trading patterns like K’Sante and Ambessa. Even without the Helping Hand passive, the resistances that the item offers are already really good and warrant its slightly higher price point.

New Boots

This season also introduces a new pair of boots: Gluttonous Greaves. It offers some Omnivamp on purchase, and you can stack it by taking down enemies. The total cost of the boot is 950g, and it has the following stats:

  • 45 Move Speed
  • 4% Omnivamp
  • Slay: Gain 1% Omnivamp on Champion takedown, stacking up to 6 times.

The stacks are permanent and persist beyond death.

Mid laners will have access to Immortal Path, the enhanced version of these new boots, through their Role Quest. It has all of the stats of the base Gluttonous Greaves, plus the following effect on top:

  • Now and Forever
    • While above half Health, deal 5% increased damage.
    • While below half Health, gain 15% increased healing, shielding, and regeneration.

Changed and removed items in LoL 2026 S2

Trailblazer and Opportunity are getting removed come Patch 25.09. A few items are also being tuned: Dusk and Dawn, Statikk Shiv, and Voltaic Cyclosword.

Statikk Shiv

The new Statikk Shiv now applies on-hits and is back to being an Energized item.

Statikk gets its AP back thanks to its changed recipe.

The fact that Statikk Shiv now procs on-hit effects has brought forth funny bugs (or intended interactions).

Voltaic Cyclosword

Voltaic Cyclosword is losing its synergy with dashes and blinks in favor of being able to trigger Energized off of ability damage. The slow has also been removed for more damage and Lethality.

Dusk and Dawn

Finally, Dusk and Dawn is receiving minor changes that brings down its stats and grants it a heal.

These new items go live on League of Legends 2026 Season 2 Act I, scheduled for Patch 26.09 on April 29, 2026.
