The Infinity is back at the top tier of competitive PUBG Mobile in the SEA region.

The PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL), the first partnered league for the mobile battle royale title, is entering its second season. The PMSL SEA Fall 2023 will take place from Aug. 2 to 27 as 20 teams compete for a share of the $250,000 prize pool and slots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023.

The PMSL was introduced this year as a partnered league for PUBG Mobile. As a part of this, Tencent has “partnered” with 15 teams from across SEA to be permanent members of the tournament. However, instead of keeping the league completely closed, the PMSL features five open slots, which teams can qualify for through the national Pro Leagues.

Here are the 20 teams competing in the PMSL Fall Season 2023:

The Infinity replaces Bacon Time as a partnered team

Shortly after the spring season ended, Thai esports org, Bacon Time announced that it was leaving PUBG Mobile. The organization didn’t give a reason behind this, but the announcement came as a major surprise. Tencent had only selected a limited number of teams for the PMSL. One of the teams departing in the first season itself came as a major surprise.

It has now been announced who will replace the team in the PMSL SEA Fall 2023. The Infinity, which was a surprising omission from the initial list of partnered teams, has finally joined the PMSL. The org has been competing in PUBG Mobile since 2021 and had a pretty impressive performance in 2022.

They won the PMPL Thailand Fall Season, the PMRC between SEA and China in September 2022, and also came first in the PMPL SEA Fall Championship. They will now be looking to reclaim their title as the kings of SEA.

PMSL SEA Fall 2023 to begin on Aug. 2 and conclude with a LAN Finale

Just like last season, the PMSL SEA Fall 2023 has been split into a League Stage and the Finals. The League Stage will happen across three weeks from Aug. 2 to 20.

The teams will get bonus points based on their ranking each week. After all three weeks, the top 16 teams will advance to the PMSL SEA Fall 2023 Finals.

The Grand Finals of the PMSL SEA Fall are set to happen from Aug. 25 to 27 at the Sunway Velocity Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Teams will get an advantage based on the number of Bonus Points they accumulated in the League Stage.

The top six teams from the Grand Finals will make it to the PMGC 2023, which will happen in Turkey in November and December.
