The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) is well underway but MOONTON has just raised the stakes. The developer announced in a press release that it’s partnering with the United States Esports Federation (USEF) for the IESF World Championship 2023. Now, the top teams from the NACT Spring 2023 will advance to the IESF World Championship, taking place in Romania later this year.
What is the IESF World Championship?
The IESF World Championship is a global esports tournament organized by the International Esports Federation. The 2022 edition, whose final took place in Indonesia, saw the addition of MLBB for the first time.
Now, the mobile MOBA title is set to return in 2023 alongside five other gaming titles. These include CS: GO, Dota 2, E Football, Tekken 7, and PUBG Mobile.
The MLBB tournament in the IESF will carry a prize pool of $100,000 and will feature 16 teams from around the world. It will take place in Iași, Romania from Aug. 25 to Sept. 3.
While the North American team will be determined through the MLBB NACT Spring 2023, there will be separate qualifiers in Asia, Oceania, Europe, and Africa.

The MSC, first introduced in 2017, was a cross-regional tournament by MOONTON for Southeast Asia. In 2023 however, as a part of the game’s global expansion plans, the MSC 2023 will feature teams from around the world, including North America. The winner of the NACT Spring 2023 will fly to Cambodia from June 10 to 18 to compete against 11 other teams for international glory.
Currently, the regular season of the MLBB NACT Spring 2023 is underway until April 23. Currently, TheOhioBrothers are leading the table with a 12-0 score. The team, consisting of star players like Hoon, Basic, and Shark, have been absolutely dominant and hasn’t dropped a single game so far.
In second place are the famous Blood Thirsty Kings (BTK). The team put up an underdog performance to place third in the M3 World Championship in 2021. For the 2022 season, they signed with The Valley before making a return to BTK.
The table so far is as follows:
- The Ohio Brothers
- BTK
- Ackerman
- Fallout Esports
- The Empire

The top four teams will advance to the Playoffs from April 29 to May 14. Additionally, the last two teams will compete in the grand finals in a LAN event at the HyperX Arena, Las Vegas. This will be the second LAN event for MLBB in NA after the MLBB NACT Fall 2022.
