Guild Esports, co-owned by David Bekham, launched their PUBG MOBILE division and became the first team announced for the 2024 PMGC Finals.

Guild Esports, a prominent European esports organization co-owned by global football icon David Beckham, has officially entered the PUBG MOBILE esports scene.

The team has been announced as the partnership team for the PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL) EMEA region and will also serve as the host region’s invited team for the prestigious 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) Finals.

Guild Esports launched globally in 2022, with David Beckham as the co-owner. They embarked on a groundbreaking journey as the first publicly traded esports organization on the London Stock Exchange and entered a series of esports titles including FIFA, Rocket League, Fortnite, and VALORANT.

In addition to their newly formed PUBG MOBILE division, the organization owns competitive teams in EA FC 24, Fortnite, Street Fighter, Tekken, Sim Racing, and Apex Legends.

On September 13, Guild Esports officially revealed their PUBG MOBILE roster, featuring players Azer, Jakey, Wagner, Exo, Zero, and Gegenotgg. All members of the roster came from different countries, bringing a diverse set of skills and experiences to the team.

However, none of these players have previously competed on the PMGC stage, which has sparked curiosity and excitement among the community as fans eagerly anticipate how far this fresh, untested squad can go at the most competitive PUBG MOBILE esports tournament.

The team is set to compete in the 2024 PMSL EMEA Fall, taking place from September 18 to October 13 in Katowice, Poland. The event will feature 20 top teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, competing for a prize pool of $400,000 USD.

The tournament will also select the top six teams to represent EMEA to qualify for the 2024 PMGC League Stage, although regardless of the result, Guild Esports has already secured their spot for the Finals as the host region invited team.

Guild Esports made a strong impression during their PUBG MOBILE debut at the Team Spirit Invitational Season 2, where they finished as the tournament’s runner-up.
