The 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) is just around the corner, with teams around the world securing their spots for the pinnacle of PUBG MOBILE esports.
The 2024 PMGC is the third PUBG MOBILE global tournament of the year, and the most prestigious one, following the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) and 2024 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC), which were held earlier this year in Brazil and Riyadh, respectively.

Below is the list of forty-eight teams that are qualifying for the League Stage, plus one team from the host country which announced to be the Guild Esports, participating in the 2024 PMGC:

2024 PMGC format and prize pool
Just like last year, the 2024 PMGC will start with the League stage that runs for four weeks, then followed by three days of Grand Finals.
At the Group Stage, 48 teams will be divided equally into three groups of 16 teams. Each group plays exclusively in a certain week of 24 matches (four matchdays, six matches).
The top-ranking teams of each group advance to the Grand Finals, the middle-ranking teams of each group advance to the Survival Stage, and the bottom-ranking teams of each group are eliminated.
At the Survival Stage, 24 teams will be divided equally into three groups of 8 teams. Each group plays six matches per day for a total of 18 matches across three days in a Round-Robin format. The top-ranking teams advance to Last Chance, while the bottom-ranking teams are eliminated.
At the Last Chance, the remaining teams will play 12 matches. The top-ranking teams advance to the Grand Finals, while the bottom-ranking teams are eliminated.
At the Grand Finals, the 15 teams from the League Stage and one team from the host country direct invite will play 18 matches for three days (six matches each day).
All matches will use the official PUBG MOBILE Global Esports point system, with one point for every elimination and additional points based on the team's final placement during the match: 10 points for #1, 6 points for #2, 5 points for #3, 4 points for #4, 3 points for #5, 2 points for #6, 1 point for #7-8, and 0 points for #9-16.
The total prize pool of USD $3,000,000 will be allocated to all participating teams based on their final rankings, as well as individual awards, with the detailed distribution being announced soon. The tournament's result will also be considered for the next PUBG MOBILE Power Ranking updated in December 2024.

Fans can watch the 2024 PMGC Grand Finals at the Excel Auditorium in London for £13.50/day early-bird price. Check here to book your ticket.
However, there is still no information for the League Stage, but if we look back at the previous PMGC, the League Stage is highly likely closed to the public and will run without an audience.
Fans around the world can also watch the whole tournament online, as it is being streamed on various streaming sites including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, and possibly Chinese platforms like Douyu, Huya, and TikTok.
