Bringing together some of the biggest names in the scene, Team Vitality looks to make a statement in 2022.

After a long wait and exciting rumors surrounding the 2022 Vitality LEC roster, it's official. Five European players have joined forces with Vitality to create one of the strongest-looking lineups we've seen for next season.

With two members remaining and three more joining, here's the Team Vitality roster for 2022:

  • Top: Barney "Alphari" Morris
  • Jungle: Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek
  • Mid: Luka "Perkz" Perković
  • ADC: Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság
  • Support: Labros "Labrov" Papoutsakis

The skys the limit for Vitality in 2022

While Vitality had a rather mediocre 2021 season, they're brimming with potential for 2022 with this new roster. Coming in are Alphari, Perkz and Carzzy, all three of which have made claims for the best in their roles, for some, both in the LEC and LCS.

Remaining from 2021 are Selfmade and Labrov, two core pieces of the puzzle. Selfmade found quite a bit of success with Fnatic during his time there but hasn't been able to replicate it with Vitality yet. With a much better cast of carries around him, he'll have a much better chance in 2022 to do so.

And what a cast of carries it is. Alphari and Perkz are hailed as two of the top European talents ever developed, boasting storied careers. They make their return to Europe from the LCS, where both found some success, but not quite to the level they hoped for.

Meanwhile, former MAD Lions ADC hotshot Carzzy fills out the final spot in the team. Based on some fun Twitter banter, it was expected that Perkz and Carzzy were joining the same team. Today it was proved true, and these two EU powerhouses will no doubt be looking for more LEC titles together.

This 2022 Team Vitality roster is a menace. No doubt. With Alphari, Perkz and Carzzy bringing in the star power, Selfmade will finally get another chance to shine. Though some may question Labrov's track record in the LEC thus far, with this new squad, he'll have all the opportunity in the world to showcase his skills and remind EU of his dominant days with BIG.

Altogether, this will be one of the most exciting teams to watch when the LEC begins on January 14th!
