Remember the 10 best moments across Arcane Season 1 & 2.

With the end of Arcane, it's time for us fans to take a trip down memory lane and recapitulate the best moments of the animated series inspired in League of Legends.

Although there are plenty of sad moments in Arcane — and we appreciate them too— this list will focus on the part that made us smile, that warmed our hearts, or that hooked us on certain characters. Come with us and remember 10 of the best moments in Arcane.

Arcane: Top 10 best moments

1) Introduction of Zaun and Vander

Undeniably, one of the best moments in Arcane Season 1 happens at the very first episode "Welcome to the Playground". After the score that Vi, Mylo, Claggor, and Powder pull off in Piltover go wrong, they descend to Zaun, the Undercity.

Not only the introduction of Zaun is in perfect sync with Bea Miller's song "Welcome to the Playground", but the Undercity alleys are rich in details. We see the local thugs, street vendors, and how dangerous Zaun are in comparison to Piltover.

A few moments after the quartet walks by, Arcane introduces us to Vander — owner of The Last Drop, local leader, and adoptive father of Vi, Powder, Claggor, and Mylo.

We're given a first glimpse of Vander's influence in Zaun as he convinces a couple of thugs to let one of his clients alone.

"A bit of advice, don't threaten the guy who pours the drinks," Vander masterfully says.

2) Silco convinces Deckard to take Shimmer

We only get a glimpse of Silco, the No. 1 villain of Arcane Season 1, in the first episode. It's only in the second episode of Season 1 "Some Misteries Are Better Left Unsolved" that we realize how evil Silco is.

Undoubtely one of Silco's best moments in Arcane is when he convinces Deckard to consume Shimmer, a powerful enhancing drug. The dialogue between them show how manipulative Silco can be, which is a trend that keeps on going throughout Season 1.

"There's a monster inside all of us," Silco tells Deckard. "Real power doesn't come who were born strongest, or fastest, or smartest. It comes to those who will do anything to achieve it."

You don't get a better script than this.

3) Vi's first fight with Sevika

Vi's bar fight with Sevika in Season 1, Episode 5 "Everybody Wants to Be My Enemy" is perhaps the most memorable fight in Arcane. We see a glimpse of what Arcane can deliver in terms of fighting scenes, which is just as good as top Japanese animations such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer.

The context there also matters. Vi was pissed that Sevika, one of Vander's once loyal soldiers, continued working with Silco. And the fight kicks off in style with Vi landing a bold flying knee in Sevika's face.

The animation is so impecabble that it's impossible to not include this fight in Arcane's best moments.

4) Jinx lights up the flare, reunites with Vi

Arcane Season 1, Episode 6 "When These Walls Come Tumbling Down" is one of the most emotional in the series. Vi catches up with Jinx for the first time since the events in Act 1, which made Powder become Jinx.

First of all, Jinx iconically lights up the flare that Vi gave to her before she accidentally killed Mylo and Claggor in an attempt to help in Vander's rescue.

And, later on, when the sisters finally reunite, we see that there's still a good part inside Jinx. She drops the Hextech crystal as Vi hugs her, and seemingly become Powder for some seconds.

However, the reunion goes sour when Caitlyn joins the scene. Powder immediately feels jealous of Caitlyn, and despite Vi's best efforts, she goes back to being Jinx once the Firelights interrupt the reunion.

5) Jinx vs. Ekko

As the plot of Arcane Season 1 begins to wrap, we are gifted yet another very entertaining fight, this time featuring Jinx and Ekko in Episode 7 "The Boy Savior".

The two kids that are roughly about the same age and grown together, clash in a fight of adults that went separate ways. While Ekko became an inspiring leader for many Zaunites and founder of the Firelights, Jinx became one of Silco's many assassins.

The fight highlights how Powder used to beat Ekko in a game when they were kids and how he learned from that experience to best her in this fight. And, once again, the animation is perfect.

6) Heimerdinger spending time in Zaun

After the Council removed Heimerdinger from his obligations, he wanders around the city upon finding Ekko in Arcane Season 1, Episode 8 "Oil and Water".

The two start a relationship and Heimerdinger helps taking Ekko back to the Firelights hideout in Zaun. Then, one of the most touching moments of Arcane happen in Season 2, Episode 2 "Watch It All Burn".

It's the first time in a series that we see several Zaunites comfortable around someone from Piltover, and vice-versa as Heimerdinger is entertaining the kids at the Firelights hideout. This symbolized that peace between Topside and the Undercity is possible.

7) Jinx meets Isha

On the same episode of the Heimerdinger scene above, Jinx meets a new character in Zaun, a little girl called Isha.

Isha is running from a trio of thugs when she falls on Jinx, who happened to be wandering on the streets. The thugs come to them only to get killed by Jinx, who unceremoniously shoots all three of them.

Then, after a long time, we see again that Jinx still have a good heart. Jinx adopts the little girl and takes care of her, probably because she saw a lot of herself in Isha. She's an abandoned little girl just like Jinx once was.

8) Jinx, Vi, and Warwick (Vander) reunite

Vander's story arc is undoubtely the saddest in Arcane. The father of Vi, Powder, Mylo, and Claggor went from a respectful leader to Warwick, an aggressive creature that Singed created with Vander's remains.

Singed summons Warwick in Season 2, Episode 4 "Paint the Town Blue", leading to Warwick killing a bunch of enforcer. Warwick and Jinx start a battle, but halfway throughout it he regains consciousness, and realizes that Jinx is his daughter Powder.

In Season 2, Episode 5 "Blisters and Bedrock", Jinx brings Vi to meet Warwick. Although Vi was doubtful, she can't hold her emotions when she finally reunites with Vander.

The family hug each other in what is one of the most beautiful scenes of Arcane.

10) Ekko vs. Jinx: Round 2 (sort of)

While we got a beautiful fight between Jinx and Ekko in Season 1, things go significantly different in Season 2.

Ekko finds himself in an parallel reality in Season 2, Episode 7 "Pretend Like It's The First Time" after interacting with Hextech alongside Heimerdinger and Jayce.

In this alternative universe, the robbery went wrong too and Vi was killed during it. The rest of the timeline seems fine, though, as Zaun prospered as an honest city and everyone else is alive.

Ekko is righfully very confused at first, but once he understands what happens, he develops a deep sentiment for Powder. She helps him and Heimerdinger to build Hextech in this reality, and share a lovely dance before Ekko goes back to his original universe.

And, of course, they also kiss each other.

10) Jayce and Viktor save the world

After becoming lethal enemies throughout Arcane Season 2, Viktor and Jayce finally make amends in the series finale "The Dirty Under Your Nails".

Ekko prevents Viktor from taking control of everyone, and then Jayce finally make Viktor see sense in his actions. They have one of the most emotional dialogues of the whole series, and we learn that Viktor is the same Mage that saved Jayce's mother when he was just a child.

Bonus - Vi and Caitlyn get back together (+18)

The most anticipated romance scene of the show finally happens in Arcane Season 2, Episode 8 "Killing Is A Cycle". There's no need for description, simply watch it — if you're 18 or older.

That's all for now. Stay tuned to esports.gg for more Arcane news.
