Invictus Gaming jungler Lu "Leyan" Jue is being punished by Riot as a result of inappropriate behavior during a live stream toward a giant plushie of Lotso, the strawberry-scented bear who served as the villain in Toy Story 3.



Riot will be fining Leyan and his team 50,000 ($6,900) and 20,000 ($2,760) Chinese yuan, respectively. Additionally, Leyan will serve a two-match suspension as outlined in the official penalty notice.

The stream during which IG Leyan's inappropriate behavior occurred during a competitive break for Invictus Gaming. They had already been eliminated from the LPL Spring Playoffs on April 1. Thus, Leyan's punishment is not able to take effect immediately.



As a result, his two-match suspension will affect the team's first two best-of-three series of the upcoming Summer Split. While not ideal, the team will at least be thankful they have some time to prepare.

Shortly after the punishment was announced by Riot, Invictus Gaming released a statement via Weibo. In it, they acknowledged Leyan's words and actions as "inappropriate." They also shared that they "educated and criticized" Leyan and would deduct two months from his salary.

Leyan also took to Weibo to post his own comment in regard to his now controversial livestream. Translated into English, it reads, "It’s not what everyone thinks. The bear was too big. The music in the headphones was rocking at that time. I just thought the bear was cute, so I hugged it and shook it."



Leyan has not publicly stated anything specifically commenting on Riot's punishment.

G2 Esports' Head Coach, Romain Bigeard, published the team's scrimmage record alongside their stage games for the entirety of the Spring 2024 split. The simple truth of the matter is that it's rather impressive. Bigeard also published their scrim stats during Winter 2024, and it seems he plans to make this a regular occurrence.

In the photos posted, every formal practice game played by the now-champions is laid out. Over the course of the split, the team had 110 wins contrasted with 39 losses. Many of G2's losses are frontloaded early into the split, painting a picture of an increasingly consistent and dominant roster. The most successful LEC team against them was Fnatic. Their classic rivals managed to be a third of G2's losses at 13 games. However, it seems that Fnatic had G2's number early on in the split. before the red-and-black champions hit their stride. The other teams who gave G2 losses in either scrims or regular play are BDS, MAD, Karmine Corp, and Vitality.

Riot Games recently announced that the beloved League of Legends game mode, Arena, returns in 2024. Check out when the LoL Arena will release in 2024 here.

As revealed in the dev blog by Riot Games, the LoL Arena will return on May 1, 2024 with patch 14.9. It will be live for the entirety of Split 2, meaning it will last a good few months.







This is longer than the other iterations of Arena. "We want to give all of you more time to play. And that way we’ll learn how you like to play over a longer amount of time," says LoL Game Modes team Product Lead Eduaro "Riot Cadmus" Cortejoso. "When we go for shorter run times, the general trend is that modes spike dramatically and drop off as people are “done” with an event, so we’re going to measure Arena’s staying power this time around."



This also implies that Riot Games is thinking of making Arena a permanent LoL game mode. While the long run-time may be overwhelming, don't worry. There's a lot of new content to enjoy even if you've played Arena before.



What's New in LoL Arena V3



There are a lot of new things added in Arena for its 2024 release.



Firstly, lobbies are doubling in size. Arena will now be 2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2, meaning there will be 16 players in a given Arena lobby. The previous champion select rules still apply, meaning there will be 8 bans and picks will be done in phases.







There will also be a new map called "Koi Pond." There will also be new Augments and a whole item tier, Prismatics, to replace the now-gone Mythic items.

It's been over six months since Valve officially released CS2, forcing casuals and professionals to adapt to the new game. Even though the developers pushed many updates since September 2023, one of the best CS2 players in the world — FaZe Clan's Robin "ropz" Kool — feels there is still a lot to be done to improve the game.



Since CS2 came out, many professional players have expressed their distaste toward the new game but not all of them cared to relay proper feedback to Valve. Ropz, on the other hand, was pretty vocal when CS2 launched and reported bugs and malfunctions on more than one occasion, helping Valve to fix the game.

Although ropz recognized that Valve did improve CS2 since the game came out in September, the FaZe star claimed there are still "many things missing" — especially optimization.




"I think the game is not in a good place at the moment," ropz said in an interview with esports.gg on April 22. "I think optimization is the biggest problem I face right now with tournaments. You go from tournament to tournament, and some might have a good PC, some might have an average PC, but playing CS2 on an average PC is not good enough, FPS-wise."

Not only does CS2 run poorly depending on the specifications, but we've also seen random crashes in some of the biggest tournaments. It happened to Dzhami "Jame" Ali in a crucial round of Virtus.pro versus G2 during the PGL Copenhagen Major in March and to Astralis' star Nicolai "device" Reedtz during the IEM Chengdu semifinals in April.

The Pokémon GO Rediscover Kanto event is the next step in the Rediscover GO refresh of Pokémon GO. From Monday April 22 (10am PDT) until Thursday May 9 (8pm PDT) Pokémon from the Kanto region will be spawning in an all new biome system.



A biome system has long been requested for the game. Now, trainers can head out to specific locations in order to hunt the Pokémon that they want. The Rediscover Kanto event is the launch for this system. However, biomes will be remaining in Pokémon GO after this event concludes.

Epic Games has activated the first round of Quest Rewards in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. These add to the current Battle Pass rewards, giving players access to more in-game cosmetic items. There are three pages of Quest Rewards players can complete. However, only one is active, with the others expected to arrive over the next few weeks.

How to unlock Quest Rewards in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2













As shown above, you can find Quest Rewards on the Battle Pass tab under the Quest Rewards icon. Currently, you can unlock four in-game items from this section of the Battle Pass. Unlike the Bonus Rewards, the Quest Rewards are available regardless of how much of the Battle Pass you have completed. That means you can start completing them at any time.



To unlock the Quest Rewards in Fortnite, complete the Weekly Quests under the "Quests" tab. In particular, the first page of Quest Rewards requires you to finish a certain number of Quests on Weeks 5 and 6.

<p>Skarner is among one of the earlier champions to be released in League of Legends. The "Crystal Vanguard" first appeared on the rift August 9, 2011 and is now getting a huge update that creates more exciting gameplay in line with the theme of his identity.
