T1 vs Team Liquid

The match between the Korean team T1 and the North American Team Liquid happens on the third day of the EWC 2024 League of Legends tournament, July 6. The start time is 6 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET.

Live score

T1 2:1 Team Liquid (T1 is the winner)

Team Liquid started the LoL EWC semi-final with an absolutely amazing game. They destroyed T1! A sparkle of hope ignited the fire in the hearts of North American fans. T1 almost fully extinguished it in game 2. The Korean players were aggressive, initiated fights, and won them. They earned an impressive money advantage — and eventually made the match score even.
In game 3, Team Liquid had a promising start, with a slight gold and kill lead. But T1 managed to steal Baron and won an important fight to build their own advantage and then smash TL’s Nexus and the LoL Esports World Cup 2024 key.
The opponent of T1 in the final match has been decided in the second semi, and it's Top Esports.

“I’m just relieved that I’ve survived for another day. It was a really, really hectic game… Team Liquid is prepared a lot strategically, so we struggled a lot. In the first game, we suffered on the bottom lane, and in the third game, we suffered on the top lane. But in game 3 somehow we managed to fight it off.”

Top Esports vs G2

The match to decide for the second LoL finalist at the Esports World Cup 2024 is planned for Saturday, July 6, 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET.

Live score

Top Esports 2:0 G2 Esports (Top Esports is the winner)

Top Esports got their revenge on G2 after their disastrous loss at MSI 2024. The Chinese players dominated in both games: they controlled the map, won fights, and secured objectives. G2 Esports had their good moments, but they couldn’t find the key to success in this LoL Esports World Cup 2024 semi-final. Instead, their own EWC key was destroyed.

Top Esports have not lost a game at this League of Legends tournament so far. They face T1 in the final match.

"We are here to become the victors of the EWC… We actually made a lot of adjustments coming into tonight’s Bo3, especially for the ban/pick phase."

LoL Esports World Cup 2024: Domination of Eastern League of Legends

The Eastern regions are traditionally super strong in LoL esports. The Korean and Chinese teams dominate the international scene, but the EWC 2024 already proved that surprises are possible. T1 are the World Champions 2023. Top Esports managed to defeat Gen.G, the MSI 2024 Champions, in the EWC quarter-final. What can Team Liquid and G2 Esports answer to this?

T1 vs Team Liquid

At the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, Team Liquid fell to the lower brackets after their match against Top Esports. And soon, T1 eliminated them from the tournament with a 3:1.

Top Esports and G2 Esports

G2 players have nice memories from their match vs Top Esports at the MSI 2024. First, the Chinese team surprised everyone with their an almost full reverse sweep in the match against Gen.G. But then, they couldn't win even one game vs G2 Esports.
Still, G2 Esports did not go too far at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024. And Top Esports proved how stronger they are now.
