Yunara is the newly revealed ADC champion coming to League of Legends. Here’s everything we know about her so far.
In the "Here, Tomorrow" Spirit Blossom cinematic, we see multiple champions who are going to be present in the second phase of the iconic skin line soon. Not only do we see many familiar faces, but we also see the new champion coming to League of Legends: Yunara.
Who is Yunara?
In fact, we still don't know who Yunara is. Since League of Legends hasn't released much information about her as a new champion, we only know that she might be from Ionia due to the chronology's lore and the cinematic landscape. According to League of Legends Leaks & News, she would be a support.
However, after some days, Yunara was confirmed not to be a support by the Director of Content Strategy of League of Legends, Brian Cearns. In response to a player saying it would be "her dream" for Yunara to be an ADC, Brian answered: "Dreams do come true". Other pages also confirmed that Yunara is going to be an ADC.
Yunara is a combination of two kanji: 祐, which means "to protect, help, assist" and 麗, which stands for "beautiful, lovely, graceful". The first one is also associated with the meaning of getting divine assistance.
