Match 1
After picking a composition with strong engage and frontline, Gen.G dominated the early objective control and mid‑game team fights. A decisive Baron–powered push closed the game at around 30 minutes. Even with one Atakhan and a Baron steal, Anyone's Legends was not able to turn the game around.
Match 2
The second match was significantly worse for Anyone's Legends. It followed the same pattern as Game 1: Gen.G demonstrated strong rotations, excellent macro play, and solid map control. They finished the match in just 28 minutes, with a substantial gold lead. All of their players became very strong in their lanes, and Gen.G effectively controlled every objective.
Match 3
If Anyone's Legends was struggling due to tough losses, they were determined to turn things around on their own. They gained momentum in the early skirmishes, took control of the Baron and Dragon, and broke into Gen.G’s base after a crucial fight at the Dragon pit. In less than half an hour, this game seemed to mark the beginning of a reverse sweep (or so they believed).
Match 4
In an intense 46-minute slugfest, Anyone's Legend took an early lead and maintained it, ultimately winning a decisive jungle-tracking fight to tie the series. The team that made the first mistakes was the one that lost, and unfortunately, Gen.G ended up on the losing side. Both Shanks and Hope showed remarkable strength during the game. However, the overall team dynamics and fight strategies of Anyone's Legend resulted in a better outcome.
Match 5
The fifth match was a stomp. From the outset, Gen.G asserted map dominance, won critical team fights, and never let AL dictate tempo. In less than half an hour, the game was just over. Gen.G won the League of Legends Esports World Cup 2025 edition by 3-2.
