Damwon Gaming KIA will officially launch their rebrand ahead of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea season. The former word champions will now be known as Dplus KIA.
The letter "D" serves as a homage to the Damwon name, which has been present with the organization since its LCK debut. The "plus" represents limitless connectivity and expansive potential for a bright future.

Dplus KIA got off to a great start in its quest to form a global fanbase. The LCK side acquired newly crowned world champion Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu.
