The First Stand 2026 concludes with BLG lifting their first international trophy in the competitive League of Legends scene.

Bilibili Gaming (BLG) claimed their first international title at The First Stand 2026 with a decisive 3–1 victory over G2 Esports. In the post-match press conference, Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin was named the tournament’s MVP, and he made it clear it came as no surprise. “I knew I’d be the MVP,” he said confidently on stage.

This victory also marked a milestone moment for the roster, with two players securing their first international title, while Park “Viper” Do-hyeon made history as the first player to win The First Stand twice. Here’s a look at the standout moments from the press conference.

BLG takes The First Stand 2026 crown

The First Stand 2026 became a special moment for the Chinese organization BLG as they had conquered their first international trophy. While part of the roster is celebrating its first international trophy (Peng “Xun” Li-Xun and Luo “ON” Wen-Jun), others are celebrating their new addition to their personal records. On the other side, Viper has become the first player to win The First Stand twice, after securing the title in 2025 with Hanwha Life.

“I’m really happy to play on this stage for two consecutive years,” Viper stated in the press conference. “While it was not a perfect game from us, I’m happy that we were able to showcase something good to all of the fans.”

After a string of disappointing performances, Xun parted ways with the organization and joined JDG in 2025. However, BLG brought him back during the offseason, making this victory all the more meaningful for the jungler.

“I was very excited about this moment. We haven’t had strong international results in the past few years,” Xun said. “After returning to BLG, we built a strong bond as a team, and that really showed in our performance. I’m truly grateful to the fans, my teammates, and the coaching staff for making this possible.”

Representing the LPL

After his victory, Zhuo “knight” Ding expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to represent the League of Legends Pro League (LPL). “Lifting a trophy for the region means a lot to me,” he said. “We are not satisfied with this title, though. We still have a long road ahead with the MSI and Worlds. The team will keep working to bring the best performance on the stage.”

Head coach Yang “Daeny” Dae-in took the opportunity to reflect on the team’s performance, highlighting how the international stage exposes them to new approaches and perspectives on the game, particularly from Western teams.

“We have learned a lot from the Western teams. Their macro is very different, and their communication is great,” the coach explained. “With these experiences, we can absorb that knowledge and make good use of it. I hope we can get to more international stages, learn more, and do better as a team.”

For the coach, this is his second international title. He won the LoL Worlds 2020 with DWG KIA. The First Stand 2026 marks the first title for the Chinese region since 2023, when JDG defeated BLG for the MSI title.

Bin is the MVP of the tournament

During the press conference, the host, Rafaela “Rafa” Tomasi, announced that BLG Bin was chosen as the MVP of the tournament. “This victory proved we can be the strongest team. That I can be the strongest top laner in the world,” Bin commented. “I’m not very emotional right now because before the game, I knew I was going to be the MVP.”

The crowd went crazy and screamed for the top laner. For Bin, this is his second international title, as he had already won the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2022 with RNG.
