Find out everything about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
In a year absolutely stacked with games, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II stands out as one of the most anticipated by gamers. The original Kingdom: Come Deliverance is still regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time, and fans are expecting the sequel to improve upon the successful formula.
The launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is quickly approaching, and if you're a fan of the series, you need to know everything about the game. From the release date to the available platforms to the editions, we'll cover all you need to know about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in the guide below.
Release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
The official release date for the game is currently set for February 4, 2025. With that date only a few weeks away, there's little to no possibility of a delay occurring, so expect that date to remain in place.
There is no early access available for the game, so all players will get to jump in at the same time on Feb. 4. We're unsure of exactly what time the sequel will launch on that date, however, so we'll have to wait for more details from developer Warhorse Studios.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II platforms and performance
If you've decided you want to experience the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, then you have to ensure you have the correct system to play it. The sequel is arriving on PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Last-generation consoles and the Nintendo Switch will not see a release for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The developers stated they were held back by the technology of the Xbox Series S, so consoles like the Switch and PS4/Xbox One wouldn't come close to being able to run the game properly.
Speaking of performance, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players will only be able to run the sequel at 30 frames per second. This goes for 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions. 4K is not available for the Xbox Series S, but it does support 1440p. PC players will likely be able to uncap their fps, but that's not been confirmed by the developers.
