It’s official, Fortnite Save the World will become a free-to-play game mode beginning on April 16. Players will soon have the opportunity to enjoy the game that started it all before Battle Royale launched. Additionally, those who pre-register for Fortnite Save the World can help meet a community goal and receive free in-game items.

How do I pre-register for Fortnite Save the World?
Anyone looking to participate in this community event revolved around Fortnite’s original game mode can do so on the Save the World website, which Epic Games launched following the announcement. Once there, you must log in to your Epic Games account, click the register button again, and you should be all set.
- Navigate to the Fortnite Save the World website
- Click the ‘Register’ button
- Another screen will appear, click the ‘Register’ button again
- This will either work or force you to log in to your Epic Games account
I’m stuck in a registration loop
Unfortunately, some have reported a constant loop in which the website doesn’t recognize pre-registration. However, it’s unclear whether the website isn’t allowing players to register or if it’s just a glitch. Epic Games has provided a list of instructions to follow if you’re experiencing the loop, which many have reported is not working.

What are the community goal rewards?
