Best Saber build in Honkai Star Rail
Saber is a perfect fit for the Destruction archetype; she hits a lot of enemies hard. Building her is straightforward, but playing her might be a challenge.
Saber Trace priority
Her kit and identity revolve around her Ultimate, which should be your priority, closely followed by Skill. Her Talent and Basic Attack can take a back seat, but levels on them are still nice.
Saber build: Relic and Planetary Sets
Wavestrider Captain
2-pc: Increases CRIT DMG by 16%.
4-pc: When the wearer becomes the target of another ally’s ability, gains 1 stack of “Help,” stacking up to 2 times. If there are 2 stacks of “Help” when the wearer uses their Ultimate, consumes all “Help” to increase the wearer’s ATK by 48% for 1 turn(s).
This is a good set for Saber if she can reliably be the target of two ally skills. Most of her parties will involve more than one supportive unit anyway, so this is a great set to have.
Inert Salsotto / Firmament Frontline: Glamoth
Inert Salsotto 2-pc: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer’s Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth 2-pc: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.
Inert Salsotto boosts CRIT Rate and Ultimate DMG, both valuable stats for Saber.
Meanwhile, Firmament Frontline: Glamoth gives no CRIT Rate but instead flat-out increases her DMG even more. It has a SPD breakpoint to meet, though.

Saber Light Cones
Best-in-slot and Signature Light Cone: A Thankless Coronation
Saber’s Signature Light Cone is her best-in-slot. It helps with her crazily high Energy requirement and gives her nice stats on top of it.
Best F2P option: On the Fall of an Aeon
At S5, this Light Cone from Herta’s Store is a competitive choice and is the best F2P option for Saber. The buffs, however, are not consistent since they need Weakness Break to be inflicted.
Best Saber teams in HSR
Saber has the highest Energy requirement in the game to cast her Ultimate. Teams that aid her in generating energy and have action advance are valuable. Buffs and debuffs are, as always, appreciated if you have the room for them.
