Lingsha, an upcoming Honkai Star Rail character, has been revealed!

In Honkai Star Rail, Lingsha is a 5-star Fire character on the Path of Abundance.
The reveal tells us a lot about Lingsha. Firstly, it informs us of her identity: her real name is "Dan Zhu" and she is a Vidyadhara healer. Next, her role: the new Alchemy Commission's Cauldron Master. She diagnoses illnesses using her sharp sense of smell and uses incense to calm others.
Her new name, Lingsha, refers to powdered mercury sulfide which was used in traditional Chinese alchemy and medicine.
She may be an expy of the Honkai Impact 3rd character Nuwa. In earlier versions of HI3, Nuwa was also named Dan Zhu which further strengthens the link.
In-game, Lingsha is a 5-star Fire character on the Path of Abundance. She is the first character of this Archetype. Leaks suggest that she deals damage on all of her abilities, and that she has healing-over-time for allies.

Lingsha's English voice actor is Whitney Holland. Her notable roles include Penny from My Time at Sandrock, Faetale and Venus from Monster never Cry, and Sylas from Sigh of the Abyss.
Meanwhile, her Japanese voice actor is Maeda Kaori. Her past roles include Shizuku Osaka from Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, Mari Tachibana from Back Street Girls, and Aria Futaba from Aikatsu Stars!.
When will Lingsha be playable in Honkai Star Rail?
She will be playable on September 11, 2024 with the Honkai Star Rail version 2.5 update along with Feixiao. This should be her release window if there are no complications with the usual cadence of updates.
