The first Masters Tour event after the Murder at Castle Nathria Hearthstone expansion starts this Friday with drops on YouTube. During the weekend, 300 of the finest players worldwide will compete for the $250,000 prize pool.
A little over a week has passed since Castle Nathria's expansion launch, and players competing in the Masters Tour need to adapt quickly. Fortunately for you, Esports.gg brings you the Castle Nathria Masters Tour viewers guide for you not to miss the action or those precious drops!
Masters Tour Castle Nathria
Faithfull to the concept that esports is a marketing tool, the fifth Masters Tour of 2022 comes shortly after the Murder at Castle Nathria's expansion. Deck-building skills and testing groups will be key in this $250,000 tournament that will shape the leaderboards toward the Fall Seasonal Championship, which gives out 4 World Championship spots.
On top of the points and prize money, players with scores 6-2 or better will earn an invite to the last Masters Tour of 2022.
Despite the event being just days away from an expansion launch, the HS Esports team confirmed that there would not be any balance changes before the event.
Tournament Details
Masters Tour Castle Nathria will start on Friday the 12th and will go on until Sunday the 14th. The first stage of the competition is an 8 Round Swiss bracket on days 1 and 2. On Day 3, the top 16 players will clash in a single-elimination bracket until a champion is crowned.
You can catch live coverage of the event exclusively on Hearthstone YouTube channels. Drops will be active during the Masters Tour granting to Castle Nathria packs. Check out for official regional broadcasts. They will have active drops as well.

How to Connect your Hearthstone and YouTube Accounts to get drops
To receive Hearthstone Drops during Masters Tour Castle Nathria, you will need to link your Blizzard Battle.net account with YouTube. You can do this in simple steps:
- Log in to your YouTube account.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Click on “Connect” next to Battle.net. Don’t forget to be logged into your Blizzard account on which you’d like to claim your Hearthstone packs.
- After successfully connecting your accounts, you will be able to see a Diamond by the “Like” button below the video.
