Hearthstone Midsummer Fire Festival 2023
This year, the in-game event features free card packs, a Hearthstone Battlegrounds skin, plus a new Illidan skin for Demon Hunter players. To access the Midsummer Fire Festival, simply launch Hearthstone and head to the quests section within the journal.
During this event, you can communicate with opponents with some unique voice lines dedicated to the Midsummer Fire Festival as well. To do this, right-click your hero and select an emote for some fireworks. For example, Garrosh says "Light the pyres!" and "A great sight!"
Midsummer Fire Festival quests
Completing Midsummer Fire Festival quests means getting some Event XP. Once you reach enough Event XP, you can unlock free card packs and in-game cosmetics.
Here's the list of Midsummer Fire Festival quests:
- Play 1 game of traditional Hearthstone = 100 Event XP
- Deal 100 damage = 200 Event XP
- Play 30 cards = 300 Event XP
- Play 20 minions = 400 Event XP
- Destroy 30 minions = 500 Event XP
- Draw 60 cards = 600 Event XP
- Win 3 games of Hearthstone's Ranked mode = 700 Event XP
Here's the list of quests that are specific to Hearthstone Battlegrounds:
- Play 1 game of Battlegrounds = 100 Event XP
- Win 20 Combats in Battlegrounds = 150 Event XP
- Upgrade your Tavern 5 times in Battlegrounds = 200 Event XP
- Play 5 Golden minions in Battlegrounds = 250 Event XP
- Finish Top 4 in 2 games of Battlegrounds = 300 Event XP
Hearthstone Midsummer Fire Festival rewards
Of course, here are the event rewards and requirements:
- Standard card pack = Accumulate 100 Event XP in total
- March of the Lich King and Standard card packs = Accumulate 500 Event XP in total
- Sparkhoarder Togwaggle Battlegrounds skin = Accumulate 1,000 Event XP in total
- Festival of Legends, March of the Lich King, and Standard card packs = Accumulate 2,250 Event XP in total
- Felblaze Illidan skin = Accumulate 3,000 Event XP in total
The event kicked off on July 7, and you have 20 days to participate in it. If you visit the quests section in Hearthstone, there's a countdown there to help you keep track of your progress and how much time is left.
