Everything you need to know below, just don’t get caught in the crossfire.

If you are one of those who never fall back, Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion is the Hearthstone experience you were looking for. Alterac Valley will go live on December 7, with 135 new cards. This expansion is bringing New Heroes cards with incredible effects, new mechanics with Objectives, Honorable Kill as a new Keyword, and much more.

Fractured in Alterac Valley: Horde vs Alliance

Mercenaries have had a long journey this year. The main characters of this Hearthstone year visited the Barrens, the Wailing Caverns, Stormwind, and the Deadmines. Training time is over, now it’s time to lead their faction to victory!

After the 21.8 patch goes live, upon login, you will be able to pick a side and get a free Alliance or Horde legendary card. Horde’s Drek’Thar and the Alliance’s Vanndar Stormpike, are two neutral Legendary cards from the Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion that will be playable right now!. Beware that pledging an oath to one of the two leaders will bond you to their faction.

After the expansion launches, you will fight to earn prizes for your faction. If you are honorable enough, you will be getting your faction’s legendary Diamond card for free! Don’t feel bad about turning your back to a legendary, part of the post-expansion journey will include you getting a Golden copy of the enemy faction’s leader, too.

New Fractured in Alterac Valley Hero cards and Keyword

Each class will receive a new Hero Card for this expansion with incredible effects and unique hero powers. So far, Blizzard teased out some, but keep on looking they might appear anywhere on their site.

Fractured in Alterac Valey also has its own new Keyword. Honorable Kill. Even during wartime, the Alliance and the Horde have a strong sense of honor, and if you stay to the code you will be rewarded. Cards with the new Honorable Kill keyword have a bonus effect if they deal exact lethal damage to kill an enemy minion on your turn!

On top of the new Hero cards and Keywords, Alterac Valley brings a new mechanic: Objectives. If you are brave enough and you don’t fall back, you will be able to pursue strategic Objectives to use in battle. Objectives are spells with effects that last for three turns! Press your advantage while you still have it, and swing the fight in your favor!
