Halo Infinite increases XP payout for the first 6 matches of the day

The developers are listening! Players to get more XP for the first few games of the day!

The community’s criticism of the Halo Infinite Battlepass has resulted in 343 Industries making small changes to the progression system. The developers are increasing the XP payout for the first six matches of the day.

Halo Infinite was released to widespread acclaim and much hype amongst the esports community. While the game received a lot of praise, its different battle pass format did not go well with the players. Unlike many other games, Halo Infinite has a non-expiring battle pass which is a welcome change. But the effort and time required to progress in this battle pass make it extremely difficult and frustrating for the casual gamer.

Last week, the game’s developers added some small changes to the battle pass to help improve the progression system. Players received a small amount of XP for completing their matches, which should have been a part of the battle pass right from the start.

The developers also updated the weekly challenges and increased duration of the XP boosts. But this week’s update is bound to make many players happy, especially those who play for a limited time every day.

Halo Infinite players to get more XP in the first few matches

This week, the developers are further increasing the XP rewards for the first six games of the day. This change will ensure players who play a few games in a day receive more XP and inch closer to the legendary items in Halo Infinite.

Here are the increased XP rewards for the first six Halo Infinite games.

  • 1st Game = 300XP
  • 2nd Game = 200XP
  • 3rd Game = 200XP
  • 4th Game = 100XP
  • 5th Game = 100XP
  • 6th Game = 100XP
  • 7th+ Game = 50XP

We believe this increase will help address those slower initial payouts while also benefiting those of you jumping on each and every day.

This update goes live on December 1. Halo Infinite has seen a rise in cheaters and the developers are already working hard to ensure a smoother playing experience. For now, players who wish to report others can do so on the official Halo website.
