Will Star Wars Outlaws be heading to Nintendo when it releases?

Star Wars Outlaws is just over a month away, with the game set to be one of the hits of the summer. The first ever open world Star Wars game is hotly anticipated, but will it be releasing on Nintendo Switch?

We know that Star Wars Outlaws will be avaliable on PC, XBOX Series X/S and PS5. But, fans are keen to know if the game will be avaliable on Nintendo's console as well.

Is Star Wars Outlaws coming to Nintendo Switch?

There is no current plan to release Star Wars Outlaws on Nintendo Switch. While pre-orders are live for PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles there is no copy avaliable for the Switch at the moment.

In addition, none of the announcements about the game have made reference to the Nintendo Switch at all.

Could this change in the future?

However, if you are a diehard Nintendo Switch owning Star Wars fan, and you don't have another console or a PC, all hope is not lost. Other triple A games have released on the Nintendo Switch after their release. This could be the case for Star Wars Outlaws later down the line.

But, there are of course rumours about the Nintendo Switch 2. Star Wars Outlaws has some hefty System Requirements, and is an intensive game to run. The reason there is not a copy of Star Wars Outlaws releasing on Nintendo Switch is likely because the console simply cannot handle it.

So, if we are to get a Nintendo version of the game down the line, it would likely be for the Switch 2. We know that the second iteration of the console will have beefed up specs and be a much more powerful system.

For now however, this is all just speculation. If you want to play Star Wars Outlaws when it releases, you'll need a PC, Xbox Series X/S, or PS5.
