Evo 2024 Las Vegas to host Crunchyroll anime podcast live
The Anime Effect podcast will tape a special episode on the floor of Evo 2024 Las Vegas. The fighting games event itself will happen between July 19 to July 21.
Hosts Nicholas Friedman, Leah President, and LeAlec Murray will be in Las Vegas to explore the connection between fighting games and anime. There will also be guests from the fighting game community (FGC) there. This will include streamers, commentators, and well-known players.
Crunchyroll will have activations throughout EVO 2024 in Las Vegas as well. Interested fans can even watch from home via a Twitch livestream.
"On top of sending out the dynamic trio, Crunchyroll will be found all over the Las Vegas Convention Center floor and activations will be aired digitally on Twitch all weekend," the announcement stated.

The Anime Effect podcast explained
This podcast launched on Feb. 16 and had its inaugural episode reach the first slot in manga and anime category in the Apple iTunes Store in the U.S., Mexico, Belgium, and Ireland.
Since its launch, the podcast has featured guests such as NFL player Jamaal Williams, actor David Dastmalchian, plus singers 24kGoldn and Labrinth.
As of July 2, the podcast features a total of 20 episodes. The episodes go into anime such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Attack on Titan, Solo Leveling, and more.
