Make WoW Dragonflight look like a story book with this One Weird Trick via the Curious Glyph

Take a look, it’s in a book with this neat WoW Dragonflight secret called the Curious Glyph that makes your game look oh-so old school.

While World of Warcraft has always exceeded expectations when it comes to visuals there's now a neat, hidden object to take things to the next level. Found near WoW Dragonflight expansion's new capital city of Valdrakken is an interactable object called the Curious Glyph that will give your high fantasy RPG romp a new visual look--at least for sixty minutes at a time.

Here's the lowdown, as seen on Twitter from WoW streamer Twik.

How to find the Curious Glyph in WoW Dragonflight

Outside of the new WoW Dragonflight capital of Valdrakken in Thaldraszus is a clickable book attached to a stone, with a waypoint of 47.11, 40.07. Upon clicking on the book you'll gain a buff called Making Connections that placed a nifty parchment paper visualization over your World of Warcraft world.

Seriously, how great does this look? The visual nod harkens to the style used in the PS3 JRPG Valkyria Chronicles and feels fitting given the dragons and ancient ruins of it all. Great for screenshots and photo opportunities, but it's also just kind of rad flying around the Dragon Isles with this filter on.

However, that's not all the Curious Glyph has to offer, as it also leads to a neat little puzzle for potential Inscriptionists. Go back outside from where you touched the glyph and head across the bridge. You should see an enemy called Confusion Manifest. Kill this enemy and take the item from its body back to the book to get the Forgetful Apprentice's Tome. This will increase your Inscription knowledge by three.

A cool look and a level-up to your profession? All in a day's work.

If you're looking for a more portable version of this visual style then look no further than the current Greatwinter event. The Scroll of Storytelling is another item that will give you a temporary new view, except this time you can put it in your toy box and break it out all year long. Truly, I tell you it's the gift that keeps on giving.
