Ironmouse earned the award for Content Creator of the Year against Ali "SypherPK" Hassan, Alexis "Quackity" Maldonado, Iván Raul Buhajeruk "SpreenDMC" Fernandez, and PeopleMakeGames.
According to The Game Awards show, Ironmouse did not attend the event in person because she's VTuber who is represented by an animated avatar. However, Ironmouse did provide a pre-recorded speech. In the video, she thanked her community and gave a shoutout to VShojo. On social media, Ironmouse also wrote a post about her victory.
"I have no words to describe how I am feeling right now," Ironmouse stated on X. "I am in utter shock. Thank you all so much for changing my life. This wouldn't be possible without all of you. Thank you. I am truly honored."

Ironmouse is a Puerto Rican content creator who began her career in 2017. She later became one of the founding members of VShojo. VShojo is a VTuber company that launched in 2020 with the mission to help VTubers in terms of management, support, technology, and collaboration.
