What will be in the new Elden Ring DLC trailer?
The first Shadow of the Erdtree trailer will likely show off new weapons, environments, and at least a couple of boss battles.
Elden Ring will likely follow a similar DLC format as FromSoftware’s previous Dark Souls series. That means that each DLC, if there is more than one, will add new areas to explore along with several new gameplay options. New weapons and spells are all but guaranteed. From will also likely give fans a look at a boss fight or two. Elden Ring’s unique open world could also mean additional smaller dungeons dotted across the landscape.
However, fans shouldn’t expect more than a small tease of the story. Previous images appear to show Miquella riding Torrent through the Lands Between. There will probably be some dramatic narration referencing the story, but any story beats or conclusions will probably be held for the final release.
It’s also possible that the trailer will include a release date for the DLC. Fans will just have to wait for the end of the countdown to see what the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC trailer confirms.
