Diablo 4 system requirements: can your PC run it?

Blizzard Entertainment just dropped the system requirements for Diablo 4. Here are the system requirement details.

When it comes to PC gaming, the Diablo franchise is considered royalty. A Diablo release is always a big deal for the PC gaming community, and Diablo 4 is no different. While the game is set to release on June 6, 2023, it's about to enter the Early Access phase. Among the most common concerns for PC gamers are whether or not their system can run the game.

What are the system requirements for Diablo 4?

By the looks of it, you don't need a fancy gaming rig to run Diablo 4. This is great news for anyone running entry-level computers and laptops. Here are the detailed system requirements.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Processor - Intel Core i5 2500k or AMD FX 8100
  • Graphics Card - Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 290
  • Memory - 8GB RAM
  • OS - 64-bit Windows 10
  • DirectX - Version 12
  • Storage - Up to 45GB Available Hard Drive Space (SSD Preferred)
  • Internet - Broadband Connection

Recommended System Requirements

  • Processor - i5 4670k or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Graphics Card - Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 470

These are the required specs to run Diablo 4, according to the listed requirements on Blizzard's website. It looks like most casual gamers will be able to run the game on their computers. A computer that meets the minimum requirements would be over a decade old. It's safe to assume this game will be a lightweight as far as PC resources go. Nevertheless, we'd recommend having a system that's somewhere between the minimum and recommended specs for optimal performance.

Early Access for Diablo 4 will be live between March 17 to March 19. The Open Beta will be live between March 24 to March 26. If you're still skeptical about whether or not you want to play Diablo 4, check out our review of the Diablo 4 Double Down.
