My washing machine can’t be this hunky?!
Date Everything has sold over 500,000 copies across multiple platforms. To celebrate this milestone, Team17 Digital and Sassy Chap Games are hosting a special competition with a washing machine as its prize.

Date Everything gives away washing machine
According to Team17 Digital and Sassy Chap Games, Date Everything fans can now enter a competition for the chance to win a washing machine. There's also a pair of Dateviator glasses on the line.
"People need washing machines, some people clearly like dating washing machines, so let's give away... A WASHING MACHINE!" the announcement stated.
There are a couple of ways to enter, including simply following Team17 on Bluesky or telling Team17 about your original Date Everything character. The latter option can be a written description or a drawing.

What is Date Everything?
Date Everything is a dating simulator that has more than 100 characters. Each of them is based on an item that can be found in one's home, and each character has three possible endings. Players put on Dateviators to see and talk to these characters. And yes, players can date their Dateviators, too. A few other examples of personifications include a laundry basket, the air itself, and, of course, a washing machine named Washford.
Since its launch, Date Everything has received a lot of love from players around the world. The fanart for it is endless. Voice actors for it, such as Anjali Bhimani and Amanda Hufford, also praised the game and its fandom.

"Grateful. Honored. Absolutely in awe. What a heartening experience to have all our hard work met with such overwhelming love and support from the community. Thank y'all so much!" Hufford said.
Robbie Daymond, one of Date Everything's writers, also shared some words with the community. "Watching the joy and fun this game has brought players is one of the greatest honors we could have hoped for. I couldn't be more excited to see the community grow and even more people experience Date Everything!"
Folks who haven't played this game yet can do so now on PC via Steam, the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
