This news comes just days after the popular Fortnite competitor announced his retirement from the game.
MrSavage gets the longest frag in Fortnite history, setting the Guinness World Record
MrSavage, known for his incredibly decorative Fortnite competitive stats, has officially set the Guinness World Record for the longest frag in Fortnite history. So, what does this exactly mean?
Well, first off, we need to define a frag. A frag is a gaming term when a player gets an elimination. Terms such as "frag out," refer to a player getting a series of eliminations in a row. So, what does getting the longest frag mean?
It literally is how it sounds. MrSavage got a frag in Fortnite, taking out a player in OG Fortnite, from over 1 kilometer away, ending the current record of 500 meters for the longest frag.

The popular creator traveled to Lofoten, Norway, facing the extreme cold in an attempt to set the world record for the longest frag in Fortnite. Despite being 1 kilometer from his computer screen, MrSavage set up his mouse and keyboard, loaded up Fortnite and prepared to fight.
The catch, he used a 100x zoom telescope to help see the screen from afar.
Sitting on a completely different mountaintop than the monitor Fortnite was being played on, MrSavage made his way onto the Fortnite island, jumping off the Battle Bus, with every intention to set the world record.
And, well, that is exactly what he did.
A shotgun blast to the face was all it took for MrSavage to claim the Guinness World Record for the longest frag in Fortnite history, making him even more of a Fortnite legend than he already was. The exact length between MrSavage and the monitor was 1,161.31 meters.
The player released an eight-minute short film on his YouTube channel, showcasing his longest frag while dealing with sub-zero temperatures, which can be viewed below.
