Competitive Fortnite legend MrSavage is the next member of the Icon Series!
Professional Fortnite veteran Martin "MrSavage" Foss-Andersen has officially announced that he is joining the Icon Series, which includes a skin. This revelation follows several days of teasers, where the Norwegian-born competitor advised his followers to use his "MrSavage" code in the game's Item Shop.
Once Fortnite's verified social media channels reacted to the player's social media posts, it was a foregone conclusion that the multiple-time Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) finalist would be next in line to get a Fortnite skin. Sure enough, that's precisely what happened, and here's everything we learned.
First look and release date of MrSavage's Fortnite Icon Series skin
Mere weeks after Kai Cenat became a member of the Icon Series, one of Fortnite's all-time greats and longest-running players will receive the same honor. According to MrSavage, this collaboration has been two years in the making, dating back to when the player was in North America.
MrSavage's entire Icon Series collection will arrive in the Item Shop on Friday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. ET, including three different skins with several alternate styles, various other cosmetics, and more.
Pictured to the far left is one alternate style, which draws inspiration from the player's "Hallucia" clothing brand. You can see the logo clearly on the hoodie and pants with the player's iconic "200IQ" chain around his neck.
The middle edit style is similar ot that of SypherPK's, where he has the appearance of a Greek god with glowing orange skin and the same "200IQ" chain. Lastly, the far right is a new take on the popular "Siren" Fortnite skin, which MrSavage called a nod to his former long-time duo partner Benjy "Benjyfishy" Fish.

What else can I expect as part of this collaboration?
There's a lot more than just the base MrSavage and Siren skin. The collection also includes two Emotes, a Wrap, two Pickaxes, a Spray, an Emoticon, two Back Blings, and a Banner Icon. According to MrSavage, the entire bundle will cost 2,800 V-Bucks, but the cost of each item is unclear.
The player also announced a MrSavage Cup tournament to celebrate his joining the Icon Series, alongside a Twitch Rivals tournament and more.
Who is MrSavage?
MrSavage is one of the most well-known players in Fortnite history. He began playing the game shortly after it launched and his remained a top competitor over the last seven years. Although he has yet to win an FNCS, MrSavage is one of the few to compete at the 2019 World Cup and maintain success to this day.
He recently competed at the 2025 Global Championship, where he finished ninth, earning a share of $45K. With this collaboration, MrSavage becomes the third competitive player to get a Fortnite skin, following the 2019 World Cup Champion Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf and popular player Cody "Clix" Conrod.
