The Moongazer Emote follows this trend, pairing music by American indie pop duo Cafuné with dance moves by TikTok tandem Markio and JaySkiii. Here's everything you need to know!

What's the story of the Moongazer Fortnite Emote? Origin explained

The music used in this Emote is Tek It by Cafuné, released in 2019. TikTok dance duo Markio and JaySkiii went viral thanks to one of the pair's many dance challenges. Fellow TikTokers emulated Markio and JaySkiii's choreography set to Tek It, and the rest is history.

Epic Games officially combined the two into the Moongazer Fortnite Emote on Oct. 21. Markio posted a video celebrating the TikTok creators' milestone achievement., which we provided above.

Cafuné, Markio, and JaySkiii join the likes of Jungkook, Victoria Monèt, Jenna Raine, LU KALA, and many more in the Fortnite Icon Series of Emotes.

The Emote is now available for all players. Even better, this is a synced Emote that you can enjoy with a teammate regardless of whether they have it. You can grab the Moongazer Emote in the Fortnite Item Shop and Web Shop for 500 V-Bucks. This is the usual price for an Icon Series Emote; you will have it forever once purchased.

You have until Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. ET to purchase the Moongazer Emote before it leaves the Fortnite Item Shop. After that, it's unknown when it will return. It's always better to grab the Emote before it's too late because otherwise, you will have to wait until it comes around again.
