What is happening on 3.17.25?

Fortnite's list of collabs grows with each passing day. In 2025, we have seen Mortal Kombat, another Invincible crossover, and even baseball star Shohei Ohtani. However, the game's social media accounts have been teasing something on March 17, coinciding with an announcement teased by Fortnite superstar Cody "Clix" Conrod–could it be an Icon Skin?

Many are wondering if this could mean the popular streamer could be the next member of the Fortnite Icon Series. Here is everything we know about the situation.

Is a Clix Fortnite Icon Skin coming to Fortnite?

This is the question on the minds of hundreds in the Fortnite scene, including the "Clixsters," known as Clix's loyal followers. Unfortunately, we don't have any degree of certainty. The Fortnite content creator and professional player began teasing an announcement that will happen on Monday, March 17.

In a video attached to a post titled "3.17.25," Clix's life has taken a strange turn, where he can't seem to evade the combination of 3.17.25. This number sequence appears in various facets of his life, including his own Twitch chat. To conclude the teaser, Clix referred to this announcement as "the biggest moment in my life."

Apart from a Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) title, there isn't much that Clix hasn't accomplished in his career. A Clix Fortnite Icon Series Skin is one of those boxes he has yet to tick. Conspiracy theories surrounding this mysterious teaser increased when Fortnite Competitive posted, "Fill me in, what’s happening on 3.17.25?"

It seems too coincidental for this to not mean something, but after the official Fortnite account responded with a simple "Huh," Clix responded with a smirking face.

What could this all mean?

The safest assumption is that some form of a Fortnite x Clix collaboration will occur on March 17. However, the content included within will likely remain a mystery until then. Thus far, we've seen content creators such as Ali "SypherPK" Hassan, Nick "Nick Eh 30" Amyoony, and Tyler "Ninja" Blevins in the Icon Series.

Even the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Champion Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf is a member of the illustrious Icon Series, with an in-game Skin to show for it. Given his popularity in the scene, Clix would be an ideal addition to the Icon Series, but this could be very different.

We will learn the answer on March 17, but check back here for any potential updates.
