Giannis Antetokounmpo Fortnite collab: here’s when you can expect it

#News

NBA Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo is the next athlete to join Fortnite’s Icon Series. Here’s what we know about this collaboration.

Fortnite Chapter 4 is off to a rip-roaring start, courtesy of Epic Games and many planned collaborations. Before the new season even launched, fans learned that Doom Slayer, The Incredible Hulk, YouTuber Mr. Beast, and Geralt from The Witcher would be involved. Then, around 24 hours after Chapter 4 launched, Epic Games revealed plans for NBA Champion and MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to receive a Fortnite outfit.
Here's everything we know about The Greek Freak's upcoming Fortnite collaboration.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming to Fortnite soon

The teaser arrived via a brief video on Fortnite's official Twitter account, which depicted logos of Mr. Beast, My Hero Academia, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. This video has since received nearly 1 million views. Known as "The Greek Freak," Giannis Antetokounmpo is a 27-year-old Greek basketball player who has become a force in the NBA. He was drafted 15th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013 and has since won the 2021 NBA Finals, 2021 NBA Finals MVP, and the regular season MVP award in 2019 and 2020.
Soon, Giannis Antetokounmpo will see himself as a Fortnite outfit. He'll become the second NBA player to join Fortnite's Icon Series after LeBron James did the same in 2021. Furthermore, Giannis joins an impressive list of athletes who have already received a Fortnite skin, including Chloe Kim, Neymar Jr, Harry Kane, and Patrick Mahomes.

When can you get The Greek Freak's Fortnite outfit?

Epic Games has yet to reveal a planned release date for the Giannis Antetokounmpo collaboration. However, Fortnite leaker HYPEX indicated it would be available this month alongside the Mr. Beast and My Hero Academia crossovers. HYPEX is a reliable source in the scene, so we should expect the Giannis Antetokounmpo Fortnite outfit in December. However, that is subject to change at any time.
