Fortnitemares 2025 is right around the corner, and the leaks have begun. Here’s everything we expect to see for this year’s Halloween event!
We are mere days away from the start of October, which means spooky season is right around the corner. One of the best things about Fortnite is its annual Halloween-themed Fortnitemares event. According to reliable leaks, Epic Games has several collaborations in the works for the 2025 edition.
Some names in the discussion include Ghostface, famously of the Scream franchise, amongst others. This article outlines the various leaks that have emerged ahead of Fortnite's 2025 Halloween event.
KPop Demon Hunter leaks lead the charge into Fortnitemares 2025
Following its unprecedented success on Netflix, it was only a matter of time before Fortnite brought KPop Demon Hunters into the fold. While the show's success speaks for itself, Fortnite will reportedly capitalize on the IP this coming Halloween.
The initial reports led most to believe this would be the usual collaboration, featuring skins and other cosmetics. However, well-known leaker HYPEX has stated the opposite, referring to this crossover as the main Halloween collab with more than just skins.
Whether that means something gameplay-related is unclear, but it's safe to assume this collaboration will play a significant role in Fortnitemares 2025.
Jason Voorhees and Ghostface are also in the mix
Despite skewing younger, Fortnite rarely shies away from more R-rated properties. Case in point are Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Michael Myers from Halloween, and Billy the Puppet from the Saw franchise.
All three characters, as well as others, have appeared in past Fortnitemares events, and according to leaks, two more horror icons are set to arrive in 2025. Ghostface from the Scream franchise and Jason Voorhees are two more characters linked to Fortnite's annual Halloween celebration.
It's unclear which versions of Ghostface and Jason will appear, but we expect to see the most recognizable looks they have, potentially accompanied by some alternate styles. These two crossovers will also have in-game implications in the form of Medallions.
Why not toss Scooby Doo into Fortnitemares 2025 as well?
If that wasn't enough, the entire Scooby Doo lineup will likely round out the collaborations. That, of course, includes Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Fred, and Scooby. It's yet another crossover tailor-made for Fortnitemares.
Leaks have also indicated the Mystery Machine will be available as a purchasable cosmetic vehicle in the Item Shop alongside the iconic theme song.
Although fans will have to continue waiting for the Five Nights at Freddy's collaboration, the lineup above provides all the Fortnitemares 2025 leaks in one image. There are some original designs mixed in with the crossovers, so that offers a bit of something for everyone.
