Fortnite developers will now be able to advertise their islands in a new Sponsored row in the UEFN.

Are you a developer who creates the majority of their games in UEFN? It is no secret that Fortnite has changed people's lives with the money it gives to those who create islands that gain traction in popularity, but it can often be hard to get your map to blow up. However, Fortnite is now planning to include a Sponsored row in UEFN, allowing creators to purchase slots to advertise their game.

Here is everything we know.

Developers can now sponsor their islands in UEFN

One of the toughest parts about being a deleloper in Fortnite's UEFN is getting your island seen by others. It seems that people need to get traffic to their island immediately, or else it will not appear in the Discover tab.

This has been a difficult feat for many, as developers will spend countless hours creating islands in hopes of having their time compensated through the money provided by Fortnite if their map does well. Unfortunately, many end up making little to nothing after working incredibly hard on their game.

Well, Fortnite is now allowing those with an advertising budget to try to push their game to new users.

Starting November 17, 2025, developers will be able to set up advertising campaigns within Discover, pushing their games to new players. Then, on November 24, 2025, the official Sponsored row will go live in Discovery.

This is a huge addition to UEFN, proving once again why Fortnite cares more about its players and creators than any other game out there.

50% of sponsored revenue to go back to creator pool

If this news didn't already sound amazing, Fortnite is also adding another perk where 50 percent of the revenue pool is made from sponsored islands. This is a huge win for everyone, as it gives creators even more money to look forward to making.

However, throughout 2026, 100 percent of sponsored revenue will go directly to the revenue pool. It will not change to 50 percent until 2027. Are you a developer? Now is your time to make some money in UEFN.
