Fortnite fans can rejoice after Epic Games introduced the new ‘Eleven’ skin and brought back the original Stranger Things skins.

Fortnite's Stranger Things skins – the Demogorgon and Chief Hopper – have become rare and highly sought-after cosmetics over the last four years. The entire initial Stranger Things collection left the Fortnite Item Shop on November 6, 2019, never to be seen again, or so everyone thought. With rumors of legal issues preventing the Demogorgon and Chief Hopper from returning to Fortnite brewing, fans lost hope.

However, on November 2, Fortnite leakers revealed Epic Games' plans to release a skin based on the character 'Eleven' and bring back the original Stranger Things skins. As images began to circulate, the prayers of many long-time fans were answered.

Stranger Things Fortnite skins return to Fortnite after four years

Epic Games held off on reviving the Stranger Things collaboration for four years. Their return coincided with the release of a new set based on Millie Bobby Brown's character 'Eleven' from the series. Sure enough, on November 5, 2023, the Demogorgon, Chief Hopper, and Eleven became available in the Fortnite Item Shop.

The decision to release these skins during the Chapter 1 Fortnite OG throwback season made it even more poetic, considering the cosmetics last appeared during the original Chapter 1 lifespan. Following the Item Shop reset at 7 p.m. EST, players could finally get their hands on these rare Fortnite Stranger Things skins.

Here is what the items will cost you if you decide to purchase them:

  • Eleven Outfit (included Alt Style) – 1,500 V-Bucks
  • Hopper's Cabin Diorama Back Bling – 400 V-Bucks
  • Steve's Bat Pickaxe – 500 V-Bucks
  • Eddie's Spear Pickaxe – 500 V-Bucks
  • Telekinetic Power Breakfast – 200 V-Bucks
  • Stranger Things Bundle (includes everything above) – 2,500 V-Bucks
  • Chief Hopper – 1,500 V-Bucks
  • Demogorgon – 1,200 V-Bucks

Bear in mind that these cosmetics will only be available for 24 hours. Once 7 p.m. EST on November 6 arrives, the Stranger Things Fortnite skins will rotate out of the Item Shop.

What other skins can you expect in the OG season?

The return of Stranger Things in Fortnite led many to believe other OG skins, such as Renegade Raider, Reflex, Tracker, and Black Widow, might return. Based on iFireMonkey's post on X, that theory seems invalid. At least, not over the next two weeks. You can expect Rick and Morty back in the Item Shop on November 11 and a Nike release on November 12.

What lies beyond the next two weeks is unknown, so old-school skins may return.
