Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2023 celebrates LGBTQIA+ pride with free cosmetics

Fortnite’s Rainbow Royale celebration has been an annual event since its inception in 2021. Each year, Epic Games picks a week to recognize LGBTQIA+ pride in-game, usually during summertime. The inaugural event introduced six unique items available for free via the item shop. For Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2023, Epic Games brought back all previous rewards and added more.

While it’s a limited-time event, refusing free Fortnite items is hard, especially considering the cause. The developers also included a cosmetic set that you can purchase for V-Bucks.

This year’s event features two new free items and 12 others from the previous Rainbow Royale celebrations. To unlock them, load them into Fortnite, head to the Item Shop, and “purchase” the cosmetics. 

You will not need V-Bucks as each item costs nothing, so you can secure 14 for free, provided you have yet to redeem them in the past. On top of the free cosmetics, Epic Games re-launched the Prismatic Pride Bundle for the Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2023 event. 

The set includes a cosmetic outfit, back bling, wrap, and pickaxe. Here’s a list and look at all of the Rainbow Royale cosmetics:

You can collect all the items above until August 24, when the Fortnite Rainbow Royale 2023 event ends.
