Fast and Furious, Family, and Fortnite.

Fortnite's latest collaboration is all about family. The game's Rocket Racing game mode has opened the door for many iconic vehicles, such as various BMW models and even the Tesla Cybertruck. However, Epic Games has launched an official crossover with the Fast and Furious franchise, bringing the iconic Nissan Skyline GTR-34 to Fortnite. The late Paul Walker's character Brian O'Connor famously drove this car first in 2 Fast 2 Furious, and here's how you can get it.

How to get the Nissan Skyline in Fortnite

The Nissan Skyline GTR-34 is only available in a bundle costing you 2,500 V-Bucks via the Item Shop and Web Shop. In addition to having access to the car in Fortnite, you will unlock it in Rocket League.

From a Fortnite perspective, you can use the Nissan Skyline in Rocket Racing and the traditional game modes. Once you purchase and choose it as your primary vehicle, any sports car you enter in the game will transform into the Skyline.

The origin of the Skyline in the Fast and Furious franchise

The Nissan Skyline GTR-34 first appeared in the 2 Fast 2 Furious prelude, called "Turbo-Charged." Paul Walker's character Brian O'Connor then famously drove it in 2 Fast 2 Furious with platinum paint and a blue racing stripe.

A similar Skyline with a different color appeared later in the series' ninth installment, F9. It's become iconic over the years, rivaling the muscle cars driven by Vin Diesel's character Dominic Toretto. Could those join the Nissan Skyline in Fortnite next?

Perhaps the best part of this entire Fortnite x Fast and Furious collab is the use of Ludacris' "Act a Fool," the Grammy-nominated song featured in 2 Fast 2 Furious. The Nissan Skyline Bundle will remain available until October 18.
