Could a FNaF x Fortnite collaboration announcement be coming soon? Here’s what we know!
Fortnite has seemingly done it all with its many collaborations over the years, from Marvel to Star Wars. However, the ultra-popular game Five Nights At Freddy’s (FNaF) is an elusive collaboration that has yet to happen, at least not yet. Recent rumors amongst the Fortnite leaks scene have indicated a FNaF x Fortnite announcement could happen soon. Here’s everything we know so far.
Is a FNaF x Fortnite collaboration happening?
The answer to that question is maybe, but the situation is currently complex. FNaF developer Scottgames recently posted a lineup of what fans can expect in August. Many Fortnite fans circled August 6, which the developers outlined as a “??? Collab Announcement.”
Fortnite’s track record of collaborations led to the theory that Scottgames will reveal an FNaF x Fortnite crossover on August 6. More evidence to further this claim surfaced shortly after when Fortnite leakers pointed out that a Fortnite update will also occur on August 6. Is that fate or purely a coincidence? We don’t know just yet, but it’s plausible.
Unfortunately, that’s the extent of our knowledge at this time. We expect more details in the coming days, but August is still far away. If true, the FNaF x Fortnite crossover would occur in the last week of Chapter 5 Season 3.
