F1 is coming to Fortnite soon with a collab featuring new skins and other cosmetics inspired by many popular brands featured in the series!

Fortnite has officially announced a collab with F1 racing following several leaks from reliable sources. Although it doesn't feature popular drivers such as Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, players will have the opportunity to wear racing suits with actual sponsors on them. The trailer also teased one of the presumably many Emotes fans can expect when it drops later this month.

Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite's F1 crossover!

F1 Fortnite collab: Release date and first look

Similar to crossovers like Tron and Ghostbusters, the Fortnite x F1 collab shares a similar aesthetic. Upon their release on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. ET, players can purchase one of the five default skins depicted above. Then, you will presumably have the option to switch out different colors and sponsors to customize each skin to your liking.

For example, if you purchase the Jonesy model, you can choose between the Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, or any of the other sponsors showcased in the trailer. It's also worth noting that each skin will have an option to put your F1 helmet on or not.

Beyond the skins themselves, the other cosmetics we spotted include a Glider that resembles an F1 car's rear wing assembly. The Pickaxe featured in this collaboration is an F1 car wheel, and the closing moments of the trailer provided a look at the remote-controlled car emote.

How much will the skins cost?

Epic Games, nor any leakers, have revealed how much the skins will cost in the F1 Fortnite collab. However, as a baseline, Ghostbusters skins cost 800 V-Bucks, and the Tron Legacy skins cost 1,500 V-Bucks each. The F1 skins could cost anywhere between, but are likely to be on the higher end.

Last, but not least, we slowed down the footage to note every sponsorship we noticed in the trailer. From Max Verstappen's Red Bull to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes, there are plenty of options for F1 fans to enjoy when the partnership lands in just a few days.

Here is a complete list of the brands we spotted:

  • Ferrari
  • Red Bull
  • Williams
  • Haas
  • McLaren
  • Kick
  • Aston Martin
  • Alpine

Given F1's worldwide popularity, it's no surprise to see Fortnite seize this opportunity. Although it's unfortunate not to see any drivers, the game has already added Lewis Hamilton to the Icon Series, so additional crossovers are possible.
