The unstoppable duo is preparing for the 2025 Fortnite Pro-Am.
The 2025 Fortnite Pro-Am is happening this Saturday, and some of the biggest names in Fortnite, pro players and content creators, are joining forces to compete against one another in this historical Fortnite Reload tournament. One team, however, sticks out amongst all the others, and that is Clix and Lacy.
I was fortunate enough to sit down with the two celebrity streamers and discuss their game plan going into the 2025 Fortnite Pro-Am.
Clix and Lacy discuss chemistry and why their team is among the best in the 2025 Fortnite Pro-Am
When it comes to competition, no one plays the game like Clix. The famous competitive player and streamer is a veteran within the Fortnite world and easily one of the most decorated players. That's why, when it was announced that the pro would be competing in the Pro-Am with Lacy, many felt like this was one of the best duos.
"We played together almost every day when we lived together," said Lacy when answering whether or not he felt the duo had a competitive advantage over other teams due to their 3-year friendship.

The two are well-known for their camaraderie within the world of streaming and Fortnite, making this match-up an incredibly special one.
"You can't really beat that type of chemistry," said Clix.
From the start, Lacy had pushed heavily to get Clix as his teammate, as none of the players actually had a say in who they got to play with.
Lacy pushes for Clix to be his teammate in the Fortnite Pro-Am: "He was literally begging."
Both Clix and Lacy knew from the start that if they were to play together in the 2025 Fortnite Pro-Am, then it would be all over for the other competitors. In fact, Lacy even profusely dm'd Fortnite on Discord in hopes that they would match him up with Clix.
"I was on the Discord typing, 'Please let me play with Clix. I want to play with Clix,'" said Lacy. "I knew that if they put us together, there was no chance we would lose."

Clix, too, figured Lacy being his teammate would be the outcome.
"I expected us to be put together," said Clix. "I mean, they literally tweeted a DM of him begging for them to put him with me. He was literally begging."
Well, it looks like Lacy got his wish, as the two are set to dominate in Saturday's tournament.

Gameplan
The two discussed why they have the most skill compared to other duos in the tournament and why their game plan will be among the best.
"See, here's the thing," said Lacy. "We both can IGL. We both can frag. We both can tarp. Not a lot of duos in this tournament can do that."

Lacy proved a point with this statement, as quite a few of the content creators chosen for this competition have never played a game of competitive Fortnite in their lives.
"We both have that competitive nature. We both play competitive. We were both professionals at one point. So, us going in there - we have a strategy, but we are pretty confident."
The duo talks about how they feel towards Fortnite Reload
The upcoming Fortnite Pro-Am is not traditional Battle Royale, but instead Fortnite Reload, which is a much faster-paced version of the game. Fortnite Reload lets players respawn as long as their teammate has not been eliminated, too, but also has completely different locations and loot than the actual Battle Royale.
Still, despite the two being more used to the regular Battle Royale, they have decided to face the odds and conquer Reload.

"I think if it were a regular Battle Royale, I would have enjoyed it more. But Reload is fun. I enjoy Reload too."
While the two do excel within the world of Fortnite, it will be interesting to watch how they play together in a completely different game mode than what they are used to.
